Max Blomqvist

Max is the co-founder of Silent Sonic Records. With a background in music production and songwriting, he brings a deep curiosity and creative spark to everything the label does, from discovering new talent to shaping fresh ideas and projects.

His journey into music began with a love for creativity in many forms, from painting to producing house tracks inspired by legends like Swedish House Mafia and Avicii. It wasn’t until he discovered digital music production that things really clicked. The freedom to create using just a laptop opened up a whole new world.

While studying music at university, Max met Lina, and during the quiet days of the pandemic, the two began making ambient music together simply for the joy of it. From those early sessions, Center of Attention was born, an organic ambient project deeply inspired by nature, field recordings, and the quiet beauty found in stillness.

In 2025, they launched Silent Sonic Records to uplift emerging artists in the ambient scene and to give back to the community that had inspired them so much. Max is known for his boundless creativity and love for new ideas. Always brimming with inspiration, he thrives on experimenting, building, and dreaming up what’s next, a driving force behind the label’s evolving vision.

When he’s not making music, you’ll likely find him out on a walk, brainstorming his next big idea, or having a beer and recharging with friends.
