We’re so happy to finally share our new release with you — Aquafera by the incredible Forgotten Lake (Oscar Hildingsson). You might also know Oscar from his other ambient project, Broken Peak.

Oscar grew up in a region called The Plains, an area lying between Sweden’s two largest lakes. The calm and open landscapes of his childhood became the inspiration behind Aquafera and its beautiful tracklist: A Lake of Echoes, The River’s Song, Mist Over Quiet Waters and Porla.

Each piece on Aquafera is built around unique field recordings from nature, blended with gentle and emotional pads. The result is a peaceful and heartfelt listening experience that feels like water flowing, sometimes still the water is still, sometimes it’s moving, but always full of life.

With its slow melodies and soft atmosphere, Aquafera is perfect for moments of calm, reflection, and mindfulness — all the things we love most.
