Lore is the artist name of vocalist and composer Lina Hallberger.

Lina has always been drawn to music that feels calm, atmospheric, and a little bit otherworldly. When she was young, she discovered Enya through The Lord of the Rings films, and Enya’s soft vocals and dreamy sound became something she kept coming back to over the years, later inspiring her to start making music of her own.

As Lore, Lina creates music with airy vocals, gentle melodies, and an atmospheric sound. While her music is often used for reading, studying, relaxing, and similar moments, she doesn’t see it as only relaxation music. For her, it’s more about exploring ideas, moods, and sounds in a natural and intuitive way. Lore is her way of being creative, letting her imagination come to life, and connecting with whatever she is feeling in the moment. Many of her tracks are also inspired by nature, and some include self-recorded nature sounds.

Lore’s songs are often recorded very simply, with vocals sung freely in the moment. She likes to work in freestyles and one-takes, capturing whatever feels right rather than overthinking or shaping things too much. For her, it’s important that the music feels honest, direct, and made from the heart.

Outside of music, Lina loves reading. It’s her favorite way to unwind after a busy day, and she can easily get lost in a good book for hours. She’s also a big daydreamer and often finds herself thinking about faraway places, stories, and everyday moments that spark her imagination.
