Lina Hallberger is a vocalist and producer, one half of the ambient duo Center of Attention and the artist behind Lore. Across her work, she follows her love of atmospheric music, nature, and the stories a sound can hold.

Lina has sung since childhood. She was drawn early on to music that felt calm and otherworldly, especially the dreamy vocals of Enya, whom she discovered through The Lord of the Rings films as a young girl. Years later, she and Max began making music together during the pandemic. Their shared interest in ambient music grew into what today is Center of Attention, a duo inspired by nature and a slower way of living. Now based in Vaxholm in the Stockholm archipelago, they weave sounds such as waves, wind, and birds into the music they create together.

Lore is Lina’s more personal and whimsical space. It gives her room to follow a daydream, a feeling, or the beginning of a story and see where it leads. She often records her airy vocals freely, sometimes in a single take, keeping the moments that feel honest rather than polishing away their spontaneity. Some tracks also carry nature sounds she has recorded herself.

An avid reader and daydreamer, Lina finds inspiration in imagined places as readily as in the world outside her door. Whether she is making music with Max or exploring an idea on her own as Lore, curiosity guides her work.
